Each socket is equipped with a dead front safety interlock mechanism, and the addition of a plexiglass socket shield guides meter blades into the zero insertion force jaws while minimizing the risk of inadvertently dropping meter seals onto socket conductors. The WECO 9050’s selectable ANSI meter form switch covers 1S, 2S, 3S, 4S, 5S/35S/45S, 6S/14S, 9S/16S, and 12S/25S forms, while the voltage selection switch accommodates 69V through 600V across ten settings — making the board compatible with the broadest possible range of residential and commercial AMI meters without requiring socket bypass adapters.
