RADIAN provides multiple calibration paths—including calibration for RADIAN-manufactured equipment, verification-only calibration for non-RADIAN AC energy reference standards, and customizable on-site calibration when sending equipment to an external lab isn’t practical.

RADIAN can also test and certify other AC measurement instruments (e.g., AC voltmeters/ammeters/wattmeters and phase angle meters).

For operational improvement, RADIAN provides utility management training options like the Process Improvement Workshop.

Keep Your Standards, and Your Results, Trustworthy

Test equipment drifts. Components age, and equipment gets shipped, bumped and repaired, and any of these can move a measurement away from where it was certified. Regular calibration shows that your standards still meet their specifications and gives you the records regulators and auditors ask for.

RADIAN services cover the whole working life of your equipment: calibration, repair and upgrades, extended coverage, and training for the people who use it.

Calibration from the manufacturer. Our ISO/IEC 17025-accredited service lab calibrates RADIAN reference standards across their full operating range, with NIST-traceable results, custom test points and temperature testing after repairs or upgrades. See RADIAN Calibration Services. For other manufacturers’ AC energy reference standards, we offer verification-only calibration at selected test points or across the full range. See Non-RADIAN Calibration Services. When sending equipment out isn’t practical, on-site calibration can be arranged.

How do I send equipment to RADIAN for calibration?

Can you calibrate our equipment on site?

Yes. When sending equipment to an outside lab isn't practical, RADIAN can arrange customized on-site calibration. Contact our team to plan the scope and schedule.

What do RADIAN Care Plans include?

Care Plans come in four tiers. Blue coverage is included with your equipment; Silver, Gold and Platinum add extended warranty options, multi-year recalibration and recertification packages, and training benefits. Platinum also puts your equipment "First on Bench" when it arrives for service.

What training does RADIAN offer?

Product Training covers product theory, testing applications, routine maintenance and calibration for lab and field technicians, through Webex sessions, tutorials, application notes, factory visits, the WeMeet users meeting and an electric energy metrology workshop. For meter shop managers, the three-day on-site Process Improvement Workshop helps teams test more meters without adding staff or equipment.
