Services

Non-RADIAN Calibration Services

RADIAN calibrates AC energy reference standards made by other manufacturers on a verify-only basis. You get documented, NIST-traceable performance verification at the test points you select or across the standard’s full operating range. ISO/IEC 17025 accredited calibration, with measurement uncertainties stated, is available as an option.

The service does not include adjustment or repairs. Calibration is available in our lab or on site, and an RMA is required for calibrations sent to RADIAN; on-site calibration does not need one.

Service Highlights

Calibrate what you need, or everything. Choose verification at the points that matter most to your program, such as your most-used operating conditions, or request a full-range calibration. Custom test points let you match the calibration scope to your internal procedures.

Traceable and documented. Every calibration is traceable to NIST and comes back with a calibration report for your records and audits. When your program requires stated measurement uncertainties, add ISO/IEC 17025 accredited calibration. Because the service is verify-only, RADIAN documents your standard’s performance without adjusting it.

RADIAN and Non-RADIAN Standards: What Is Included

Non-RADIAN calibration covers verification and documentation. RADIAN-made standards get the full service from the people who built them, including repair, upgrades, and temperature testing. See RADIAN Calibration Services for details.

How to Send a Standard In

  1. Request an RMA. Every calibration sent to RADIAN needs one; on-site calibration does not. Request an RMA online.
  2. Choose the scope: selected test points or the full operating range.
  3. Ship the standard to RADIAN with the RMA number.
  4. Receive it back with its calibration report, ready for your records.

Not sure which test points you need? Tell us how the standard is used in your program, and we will help you choose a scope. For pricing, request a quote.

Prefer not to ship your standard? RADIAN also calibrates RADIAN and non-RADIAN equipment on site, with no RMA needed.

Non-RADIAN Calibration FAQ

Which standards does this service cover

The service covers AC energy reference standards made by manufacturers other than RADIAN. Contact RADIAN to confirm your model before you send it in.

RADIAN measures and documents your standard's performance at the test points you select or across its full operating range, without adjusting it. The service does not include adjustment or repairs.

Every calibration is traceable to NIST and includes a calibration report. ISO/IEC 17025 accredited calibration, which states the measurement uncertainties, is available as an optional purchase for non-RADIAN standards as well as RADIAN's own. See our certification and accreditation page for certificates and the scope of accreditation.

For calibration at RADIAN, request an RMA first. Request an RMA online, ship the standard with the RMA number, and it comes back with its calibration report. On-site calibration is also available and does not need an RMA.

Repair is not part of this service. For RADIAN-made standards, RADIAN Calibration Services include repair and upgrades with temperature testing. If you are considering a new standard, see the RADIAN RX-10, RX-11, and RX-15, RX-30, RX-31, and RX-33, or RD-22.
