WECO 2051X

The WECO 2051X is a compact, automated single-position meter test board with a built-in RADIAN RX-10 reference standard rated at 0.04%. It tests all standard ANSI socket meter forms at up to 480 V and 50 A.

WATT-Net software runs right on the 2051X, so you can test on a bench, in a training room or in a service vehicle without a separate PC.

The 2051X brings automated meter testing to places a full-size test board can’t go. It weighs about 50 lb, measures 15 x 15 x 19.5 inches and runs on 90–300 VAC auxiliary power, so it fits on a bench, in a training room or in a service vehicle.

An integrated RADIAN RX-10 reference standard is rated at 0.04% for power and energy, so every result traces back to a RADIAN standard. Tests run in WATT-Net, the same software used with the WECO 4050X, 4150X and 4330X, so procedures and results carry across your meter shop.

Choose a test sequence in WATT-Net on the touchscreen or an external display.

Which Test Board Is Right for You?

The WECO 2051X and the WECO 4050X, 4150X and 4330X all run automated tests in WATT-Net against a RADIAN reference standard. The 2051X is built for compact, mobile use, with an integrated RADIAN RX-10 rated at 0.04%. The 4050X, 4150X and 4330X add true three-phase testing, onboard optics and a removable reference standard with a choice of 0.01%, 0.02% or 0.04% accuracy, and cover higher currents for full meter shop testing. Which meter forms can the WECO 2051X test?

Socket meter forms 1S, 2S, 3S, 4S, 5S, 6S, 8S, 9S, 10S, 12S, 13S, 14S, 15S, 16S, 25S, 26S, 29S, 35S, 36S, 45S, 56S, 66S and 96S. The SCA-4 adapter (AL0005) connects panel meters to the socket.

How accurate is the 2051X?

The integrated RADIAN RX-10 reference standard is rated at 0.04% for power and energy, from 250 mA to 50 A, at unity and 0.5 power factor.

Do I need a computer to run the 2051X?

No. WATT-Net runs directly on the 2051X. You can also connect an external display for the full WATT-Net screen, and Wi-Fi keeps test data in sync.

What can the 2051X test besides meter accuracy?

Meter communication, remote disconnect switches and performance under harmonics, with harmonic generation up to the 50th order on both voltage and current.

How is the 2051X calibrated?

The built-in RX-10 is recertified through RADIAN Calibration Services or by utilizing an RX-15 with a standards compare adapter. RADIAN Care Plans can add multi-year warranty coverage and accuracy recertification.
