- Seven toggle switches select standard ANSI burdens (0.1, 0.2, 0.5, 1.0, 2.0, 4.0, 8.0 Ω); combination of switches yields up to 115 additional burden values (maximum ~15.8 Ω) for flexible testing.
- Time‑controlled burden application: keeps burden applied only for a safe duration regardless of how long the button is held.
- Thermally protected burden elements to prevent overheating during use.
- Automatic system continuity check at each test application, alerting users to open circuits or interruptions in the CT secondary loop.
