What Is a Multi-Position Test Board?

A multi-position Test Board holds several meters at once, each in its own socket position, so a meter shop can test meters in volume: new shipments, returns, and meters for in-service programs. A single WECO 8000 rack holds 4 to 15 socket positions, and multiple cabinets can be daisy-chained for more. Each socket position is a modular 19-inch rack-mount unit that operates independently, so a single socket can be serviced without shutting down the rest of the station.

Accuracy Built In

With an embedded, NIST-traceable RADIAN reference standard, the WECO 8000 holds measurement accuracy and stability within ±0.05%. High-conductivity Smart Sockets™, with silver and gold contact surfaces and electronic socket control, give reliable low-insertion-force connections that extend hardware life across many meter forms.

WECO 8000 Configurations

Build the WECO 8000 to fit your shop. Each rack holds 4 to 15 socket positions, in a layout two or three sockets high and two to five sockets wide. For more positions, multiple cabinets can be daisy-chained together.

Dimensions common to all configurations: tabletop height 34.5 in, tabletop depth 18.5 in, cabinet depth 22.5 in, and total depth 40.5 in. All units have casters and anti-tip legs. Options include storage drawers, a dedicated bay for an embedded LCD display with your PC, and a swing-arm monitor mount.
