What does the module track?
Asset repair and replacement, tampered devices, test device maintenance, and test equipment calibration.
What is the RMA console?
One place to run returns: the workflow, tracking, and reporting for each return material authorization (RMA).
How does multi-vendor RMA tracking work?
When a meter fails testing, the operator selects RMA and a reason specific to that manufacturer. The console tracks warehouse quantities and ages, builds the RMA request for each manufacturer, and only lets devices for that manufacturer, in the correct state, be packed. A packing list is generated at shipment. When replacements return, WATT-Net validates the manufacturer's files and matches received meters to the ones sent out.
Why does RMA tracking matter during a deployment?
Even at a 0.1% failure rate, a 10-million-meter deployment leaves 10,000 meters to track. Close tracking keeps warranty dates from being missed and holds suppliers accountable.
