The addition of a second fixed Form C output in the utility compartment makes the CIR-2PS+ a practical solution for installations where both a customer energy management system and a utility pulse recorder must be served simultaneously from a single meter connection. Both outputs share the same solid-state switching devices, rated at 800V and 750mA for robust protection against transient voltage events.
The customer-accessible output mode switch allows the customer-side output to be changed between 2-wire and 3-wire without utility access. In 2-wire mode, each contact closure is approximately 100mS, occurring on every state change of the 3-wire input. Red and green LEDs in the customer compartment provide immediate visual status indication.
