The WPG-1SC’s dedicated point-to-point Wi-Fi configuration provides a reliable, isolated wireless link to the meter — reducing interference concerns and simplifying provisioning. Combined with End-of-Interval output capability and independently configurable KYZ outputs, the WPG-1SC is well suited for demanding commercial and industrial metering applications that require both energy pulse data and interval boundary signaling.
The NEMA 4X polycarbonate enclosure is built for outdoor and exposed installation environments, while LED indicators for each pulse output and communications status allow for fast visual confirmation in the field. Both unidirectional and bi-directional energy flow configurations are supported.

The WPG-1SC equips utilities to implement the new advanced AMI meters and still provide pulses to customers that may need them.
- Dedicated Point-to-Point Wi-Fi Input — connects to ITRON Gen5/Riva meter's HAN device via an isolated Wi-Fi network.
- Two KYZ Pulse Outputs — dual Form A (2-Wire) or Form C (3-Wire) solid-state outputs for kWh, kVAh, or kVARh pulses.
- End-of-Interval (EOI) Output — dedicated Form A output with programmable interval lengths (1, 5, 10, 15, 30, or 60 minutes).
- NEMA 4X Polycarbonate Enclosure — raintight and dustproof housing rated for direct outdoor installation.
- USB Programmability — pulse type, value, multiplier, mode, and timing all configurable via SSI Universal Programmer software.
- Bi-Directional Energy Support — Normal mode (delivered only) or Signed mode (delivered and received) for flexible applications.
- LED Status Indicators — individual LEDs per output and for communications status enable fast field verification.
