Purpose-built for outdoor and exposed installations, the WPG-1E’s NEMA 4X enclosure provides raintight and dustproof protection without sacrificing any of the functionality of the base WPG-1. Pulse outputs are autoranging over 120–277VAC, and each of the two outputs may be independently configured for pulse type and value — offering flexibility for diverse metering scenarios.
Status LEDs monitor both pulse output activity and Wi-Fi communications health, giving technicians an immediate visual system check in the field. A 30mS minimum-off time delay ensures clean, reliable pulse generation, and the USB port makes on-site reprogramming fast and straightforward.

The WPG-1E equips utilities to implement the new advanced AMI meters and still provide pulses to customers that may need them.
- NEMA 4X Outdoor Enclosure — 9" x 8" x 3" raintight and dustproof housing for direct outdoor mounting.
- Wi-Fi Interface Input — receives usage data from ITRON Gen5/Riva meter's Wi-Fi interface; no hardwired KYZ output required.
- Two Independent KYZ Outputs — dual Form A (2-Wire) or Form C (3-Wire) solid-state outputs, each independently configurable.
- kWh, kVAh, and kVARh Support — each output programmable for energy, apparent, or reactive power in delivered or received quantities.
- Autoranging AC Power Input — accepts 120–277VAC for broad installation compatibility.
- USB Programmability — pulse type, value, multiplier, mode, and timing set via the free SSI Universal Programmer software.
- LED Status Indicators — displays pulse output and communications status for quick field verification.
