All system features of the PRL-1600C apply: 10-second interval accuracy mode, factory pairing, AES encryption, 6-channel FHSS, and color-coded boards for installation clarity.

The SSI PRL-1600CS is the solar-ready variant of the PRL-1600C wireless pulse link, with a 12VDC transmitter base for operation with SSI solar power supplies
- 12VDC transmitter base (PRT-16CS) — replaces standard AC base with a low-voltage DC unit designed for solar and battery-powered operation.
- Compatible with SSI SPS-2 Solar Power Supply — enables fully self-powered installation at remote meter locations without AC wiring.
- Up to 5,000-foot line-of-sight range — 900MHz FHSS with 6 selectable channels; same radio performance as standard PRL-1600C.
- 4 Form A or 2 Form C pulse channels — supports four 2-wire or two 3-wire KYZ pulse channels across the wireless link.
- 10-second interval accuracy mode — pulse count collected, transmitted, and verified every 10 seconds for high-accuracy delivery.
- Factory-paired transmitter and receiver — system arrives pre-paired; no pairing procedure required at installation.
- AES encryption — secure FHSS communication scheme protects pulse data integrity.
