The NEMA 4X fiberglass enclosures included with the PRL-1600CR provide raintight and dustproof protection for the base unit electronics, reducing installation time and ensuring a fully weatherproof deployment right out of the box. Optional 10″ x 8″ x 4″ enclosures are available separately for the standard PRL-1600C, but the PRL-1600CR ships with enclosures already integrated.
All PRL-1600C system capabilities apply: 4 Form A or 2 Form C channels, 5,000-foot line-of-sight range, 900MHz FHSS with 6 channels, 10-second interval accuracy mode, AES encryption, and factory pairing.

The SSI PRL-1600CR is the NEMA 4X enclosed variant of the PRL-1600C, with base units pre-mounted in weatherproof fiberglass enclosures for direct outdoor installation.
- Pre-installed NEMA 4X fiberglass enclosures — both transmitter and receiver base units ship pre-mounted in weatherproof 10" x 8" x 4" enclosures.
- Direct outdoor installation ready — eliminates the need to source a separate control cabinet for either end of the system.
- Up to 5,000-foot line-of-sight range — 900MHz FHSS with 6 selectable hop-sequence channels.
- 4 Form A or 2 Form C pulse channels — supports four 2-wire or two 3-wire KYZ pulse channels across the wireless link.
- 10-second interval accuracy mode — pulse count collected, transmitted, and verified every 10 seconds for high-accuracy delivery.
- 120–277VAC or +12VDC power input — supports line power or solar/battery operation.
- Factory-paired and AES encrypted — arrives pre-paired with secure FHSS communication.
