The SSI PPC-2 is a rechargeable-battery handheld pulse counter for Form A and Form C KYZ testing, with an 8-digit display, 40-hour run time, and color-coded K, Y, Z test probes.
- Form A and Form C KYZ testing — counts closures from one or both sides of the KYZ output simultaneously; tests both 2-wire and 3-wire devices.
- 8-digit display with manual reset — maximum count of 99,999,999; manually resettable at any time in the field.
- Built-in 6VDC wetting voltage — supplies sense voltage to Y and Z outputs; compatible with electromechanical and solid-state relay outputs.
- 40-hour rechargeable battery — lithium-ion battery; recharges in approximately 5 hours via wall transformer or cigarette lighter adapter.
- Color-coded test probes — Red (K), Yellow (Y), Black (Z) banana jack probes for unambiguous connection to KYZ terminals.
