The SSI DPR-1 High-Speed Dividing Pulse Relay is designed specifically for water and gas meter pulse applications, supporting input rates up to 200 pulses per second. It provides two sets of isolated dry 2-wire Form A contacts from a single Form A input, with the output divided by a user-selected ratio ranging from 2 to 4096. Division ratio selection is made with a single jumper shunt on the relay board — no tools required beyond a set of needle-nose pliers.

The DPR-1 counts input pulses for division only when a valid pulse sequence is detected, ensuring a high degree of noise rejection in demanding field environments. Both outputs are independently fused, and built-in MOV transient protection eliminates the need for external suppressors. The DPR-1 is housed in a polycarbonate enclosure suitable for mounting inside a customer-supplied enclosure appropriate for the application.

Both outputs use solid-state dry contacts rated at 250VAC/VDC at 100mA, with 2500Vrms input/output isolation. Bright yellow and green LEDs provide instant visual confirmation of input and output status, and the Euro-type terminal strips ensure safe, reliable field wiring.
