Coordinated fusing in both compartments supports rapid fault isolation by channel, and the 800V/750mA solid-state switching devices provide robust protection against transient voltage events. Per-channel red and green LEDs in the customer compartment give technicians an immediate visual status check for each input independently.

The SSI CIR-22PS provides two independent isolated KYZ outputs from two separate meter inputs, supporting watt-hour and var-hour pulse channels in one NEMA 4X enclosure.
- Two independent input channels — accepts two separate Form A (2-wire) or Form C (3-wire) inputs, each with +13VDC wetting voltage.
- Two isolated Form C outputs — dual solid-state dry KYZ contacts in the customer compartment, each usable as Form A or Form C.
- Per-channel jumper configuration — input type (2-wire/3-wire) and output mode (Long/Short) set independently per channel.
- Dual-compartment NEMA 4X enclosure — locked utility compartment and accessible customer compartment in one weatherproof package.
- Coordinated dual-compartment fusing — per-channel double "K" lead fusing enables fast utility vs. customer fault identification.
