The customer compartment’s field-selectable switch allows the output to be configured as either 2-wire (Form A) or 3-wire (Form C) without accessing the utility compartment. In 2-wire mode, each relay contact closure is approximately 100mS and occurs on every 3-wire input state change, automatically doubling the pulse value for Form A applications. In 3-wire mode, the KY and KZ contacts directly follow the input’s state.
The CIR-1PS+ is built for durability and safety — the solid-state switching device is rated at 800V and 750mA for maximum protection against lightning and transients, and built-in transient suppression eliminates the need for external suppressors. Coordinated double “K” lead fusing protects against overcurrent and incorrect wiring in both compartments.
