RADIAN Acquires Solid State Instruments (SSI)

In December 2024, Solid State Instruments (SSI) became part of the Radian Research family. This acquisition enhances RADIAN’s portfolio by adding SSI’s trusted pulse isolation relays and metering devices to Radian’s industry-leading Power and Energy Measurement Solutions.

SSI’s products have been a reliable part of the industry for decades, and this acquisition reflects our commitment to providing innovative, high-quality solutions to meet the evolving needs of electric and gas utilities.

As part of this transition, SSI’s manufacturing operations will be relocated to our headquarters in Lafayette, Indiana, with shipments expected to resume by late January or early February. We are working to ensure minimal disruption and maintain the high standard of service and quality you expect from Radian.

Bill Brayden, President of Brayden Automation Corporation, will be joining Radian Research as the SSI Product Manager. His expertise and dedication to SSI products will ensure continuity and provide strong support for our customers during this transition.
