About Radian Research

Corey Rosen is the senior staff member and founder of the National Center for Employee Ownership (NCEO). The NCEO is widely considered to be the authoritative source on broad-based employee ownership plans. He co-founded the NCEO in 1981 after working five years as a professional staff member in the US Senate, where he helped draft legislation on employee ownership plans.

He is the author or co-author of over 100 articles and numerous books on employee ownership. He has appeared frequently on CNN, PBS, NPR, MSNBC, and other network programs; and is regularly quoted in The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, and BusinessWeek. He has lectured on employee ownership on six continents and previously served on the Board of Directors of the Great Place to Work Institute.

Corey has a Ph.D. in Political Science from Cornell University.

Chuck has a BS degree from Louisiana State University in Electrical Engineering with a minor in Physics and Math. Chuck started his career as a Distribution Engineer at Mississippi Power & Light and became a Meter Engineer in the Electric Meter Department and later was promoted to the position of Meter Supervisor over Field Testing of Electric Meters. Chuck then became a District Sales Manager for Duncan / Landis & Gyr Metering.

In 1980 Chuck founded Watthour Engineering Company, Inc. (WECO) where he served as President and CEO until 100% of the stock was sold to Radian Research, Inc. Under Chuck’s leadership, WECO became the number one supplier of energy meter testing systems for the meter lab and for field testing applications in the ANSI market. In addition, WECO was the first company to design and install energy meter test result database systems into electric utilities.

Jeff co-founded Software Engineering Professionals, Inc. (SEP) in 1988 and retired from his position as CEO in March 2019. SEP is one of the top product development firms in the Midwest and a frequent Top Employer award winner. His various roles at SEP and its related companies over the years exposed him to a variety of operational areas. He designed employee development, recruiting, compensation, financial metrics, job forecasting, and employee evaluation/review systems.

In 2010, Jeff led SEP to became a 100% ESOP company. His ESOP experience includes selling to an ESOP as the majority shareholder, designing an NQP compensation plan, hiring trustees and board members, implementing corporate structure, developing management, and successfully transitioning to a new generation of leaders. Jeff holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering and MS in Engineering Management from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.

Ricky has a BS degree from Mississippi State University in Electrical Engineering and he retired from Mississippi Power Company in 2023. Ricky’s extensive career at Mississippi Power Company includes various positions, such as Distribution Engineer, Engineering Supervisor, Electric Metering Supervisor, and Manager of Electric Metering Services.

During his tenure at Mississippi Power Company, Ricky spearheaded initiatives that significantly enhanced customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. His leadership fostered team collaboration within Mississippi Power Company and across the entire Southern Company Electric Utility operation. Ricky is well-known in the Electric Utility Industry which is the main customer base of Radian Research.

Through his career, Tim has held various positions in engineering, marketing, sales, and management while deriving satisfaction from providing solutions that help customers accomplish their objectives. Tim established RADIAN’s original international sales network and has traveled to multiple cities in over 30 countries and to nearly every state in the US conducting business for Radian Research.  Tim has been the main architect of every company acquisition and continues to look for companies that are a good fit for the Radian Research portfolio.

Tim has been a shareholder and served on the Radian Research Board of Directors since 2005 and today is the only inside Director on the Board. Tim took over as President and CEO in January of 2007 and he established RADIAN’s employee stock ownership plan (ESOP) in 2008. Tim is an advocate of a positive work culture where employees look forward to coming to work each day.  Moreover, Tim believes that meaningful employee engagement and active participation are key components to meeting and exceeding customer expectations.

Tim has BS and MS degrees from Indiana State University in Electronics Engineering Technology and Computer Engineering Technology and he also completed the Executive Integral Leadership program in the College of Business at the University of Notre Dame.

Marcus Zickefoose is the Director – Customer Solutions & Marketing at Radian Research, Inc., with over 20 years of experience in the utility industry.

A Purdue University graduate with a degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, he has been pivotal in global sales, product development, and strategic customer engagement. His technical acumen and strategic vision have been instrumental in driving Radian Research’s market expansion and revenue growth, while his dedication to innovation and quality has set new standards in the industry. Zickefoose’s leadership has not only advanced RADIAN’s product offerings but has also entrenched its global presence.

Renée Mundell has a B.S., Management degree combined with 24 years compliance and 30+ years customer service experience which she uses daily in her role as Director – Customer Support & Powermetrix Operations.

In her role as ESOP Ambassador Team Lead at Radian Research, Renée works with a diverse team of fellow Employee Owners to drive a positive culture of supported accountability, to advocate for RADIAN and its customers, and to implement and drive a continuous improvement mindset at Radian Research.

Ted has a B.S. degree in Accounting from Valparaiso University and an M.B.A. from Indiana University, which included earning membership in the Beta Gamma Sigma international business honor society. He also earned his Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license in Indiana early in his career.

Ted has extensive experience in various accounting, finance, and operational management positions centered around successful manufacturing related businesses.  He is an advocate of continuous improvement and collaboration at all levels of an organization.

Ted enjoys spending time with his longtime wife Eva, traveling to visit his grown-up children, and playing with his dogs Copper and Baron.

Tom has over 50 years of experience in Production and Quality Management in the manufacturing of electronic equipment, including over 30 years at RADIAN. He also has extensive experience leading high-impact projects, operational improvements, and technical initiatives across manufacturing and service-oriented environments.

His career has been centered around driving organizational efficiency, championing collaborative teamwork, and ensuring that critical projects align with long-term business goals. He is an advocate for innovative thinking and dependable follow-through at every stage of a project’s lifecycle.

Tom enjoys spending time with his family, engaging in outdoor activities, and pursuing projects that allow him to combine creativity with practical problem-solving.

Joel has a BS degree from Purdue University in Electrical Engineering Technology. Joel has held positions in development engineering, IT, electronics manufacturing, customer service and support, and metrology. Joel has experience with ANSI C12 standards as he regularly attends ANSI C12 standards meetings and is an active voting member, focusing on testing, accuracy, and traceability for utility metering.

Outside of work, Joel enjoys spending time turning bowls on his wood lathe as-well-as spending time camping and hiking.

Carrie holds a degree from Purdue University, where she built a strong foundation in manufacturing management, industrial technology, and engineering, and developed a passion for operational excellence.

She brings extensive experience in production leadership, material control, and manufacturing operations. Throughout her career, Carrie has focused on driving efficient workflows, ensuring high quality standards, and fostering strong collaboration across teams. In her role as Manager of Production and Material Control at Radian Research, she is responsible for optimizing production processes, maintaining material flow integrity, and supporting cross-departmental efforts to meet both customer and business objectives.

Carrie is a strong advocate for continuous improvement, teamwork, and thoughtful planning in all aspects of manufacturing operations. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and exploring new opportunities for personal and professional growth.

Cody holds a degree in Electrical Engineering Technology from Purdue University, where he developed a strong foundation in analytical thinking and systematic problem-solving. He has also completed advanced training in quality systems and continuous improvement methodologies, supporting his professional focus on operational excellence.

Cody brings extensive experience in quality assurance, process development, operational efficiency, and product reliability, with a career centered around ensuring high-performing and compliant solutions in manufacturing and technology-driven environments. He is a strong advocate for proactive quality culture, cross-functional collaboration, and data-driven decision-making to enhance both product outcomes and customer satisfaction.

Outside of work, Cody enjoys spending time with his family, exploring new outdoor activities, and pursuing hands-on projects that let him apply his technical curiosity and creativity.

Randy has an MBA from Purdue University Daniels School of Business, where he built a strong foundation in organizational leadership, strategic planning, and operational management. His academic experience emphasized data-driven decision-making, process optimization, and aligning business strategy with execution to drive measurable results.

Randy brings extensive experience in program management, cross-functional leadership, operational efficiency, and stakeholder engagement, with a career centered around delivering complex technical initiatives in utility sectors. He is a strong advocate for structured project execution, clear communication, and data-driven decision-making to ensure successful outcomes and long-term client satisfaction.

Outside of work, Randy enjoys spending time with his family, staying active, and engaging in projects that allow him to apply his problem-solving skills and strategic thinking in practical ways.
